Alanna currently leads the Advisory and Consulting group at MBC Africa in Ghana as an Engineers Without Borders Long-Term Fellow, coordinating the provision of technical assistance services to agribusinesses in order to prepare them for next-stage investment. Prior to joining MBC Africa, Alanna was the User Adoption and Engagement Manager with Numida Technologies, an EWB Canada-supported startup in Uganda that is making proper financial recordkeeping practices more accessible to small businesses through a recordkeeping smartphone app. Alanna holds a B.Sc in Engineering (Biological Engineering) from the University of Saskatchewan, with a focus on water resource management, waste utilization, and bioprocessing.
